PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Food service and processing establishments are encouraged to implement an Organics and Food Waste Recycling Program by discarding their organic and food waste into an alternate bin. The goal of the Organics and Food Waste Recycling Program is to offer a cost-effective and environmentally-friendly alternative to dispose of their organic and food waste.

ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS
All food waste and trimmings, including fruits and vegetables, meat and bones, seafood, poultry, dairy products, bread, coffee grounds, plant trimmings, soiled paper products, milk cartons and waxed cardboard
