 California Bio-Mass, Inc., (CBM) was founded in 1990 by David and Michael Hardy. The “Hardy Boys”, as we are often referred to, base our recycling and Organics company on the principle that good business and sound environmental practices do mix. The slogan, “FINALLY!!! A way to save money AND the environment”, created by the company, still serves as our guiding business philosophy. |
| Traditional management practices in agriculture, landscaping and turf management are being actively re-evaluated. Increasing regulatory restrictions, escalating costs for chemicals and water, and basic desire to improve the quality of the soil have led us to seek more sustainable solutions. Organic products, such as compost, in and of themselves are not a cure all for all issues confronting today’s growers and superintendents. However, incorporating organics as part of your overall standard management practices is both cost effective and beneficial to the long-term stability and productivity of the soil. ORGANICS are clearly part of the solution. |
